After looking through the options and talking to other creators affected by the new policies, I have decided to keep the game on Itch, but with modifications.

Going forward, this version of the game will not contain adult content, I have already removed the corresponding tags and carefully read all passages again to ensure that it currently doesn't fall under 18+ based on explicit descriptions.

In the future there will be two versions, the one you are currently seeing and a 18+ version that includes explicit descriptions that would risk the game being filed under "adult".

This is the only way I can keep it up without losing my whole player base, it adds a lot of work because I have to rewrite a good chunk of passages and maintain two versions, but unless Itch shows some spine and backs their creators, this is the best solution.

I can't promise when the uncensored one would go live or when I'll be able to update this one, the update that is in the making includes content that I now have to hunt down, remove, and rewrite, which adds work that I didn't plan for and that will stretch my limited time even thinner.

We all have to make the best of the situation, as bad as it is, at least the game will stay up and can eventually be updated.
